For mail sent to the wrong address:
- Admin advises the Current renter/Receiver to write “Return to sender. Not at this address” on the mail so the mail carrier will take the mail back.
If the mail is for a past renter:
- Admin will advise past renters to change their address with the US postal service and erase their previous address from their Amazon and other accounts that they order deliveries from.
- If a past renter is still in Ithaca, they are welcome to go to their previous residence and pick up the mail that was mistakenly delivered there. The current renter can just leave it outside near the mailboxes.
